I've had this one on my watch list.
Did anyone see the one that recently went for over $100 with a massive chip, or something in the barbers notch?

No I did not see it.
I have never pulled a straight razor from Ebay. I get a lot of hones/stones from the bay.
I would rather get my straights from the members here at SRP, that way I don't get burned, I have yet to be disappointed with a straight from an SRP member.

Thanked: 1184I got a bid in on it. Somewhere near the bottom @ around 51. I wanted a front row seat to watch this one. I saw one last week (I think) went for 290 or some where around there. I have an old WB that is 2 hairs over 7/8. I darn near took off my chin with it yesterday morning. If I used a 9/8, God knows what I would lose. I have decided my first custom build is going to be called "The 2X4". If bigger is worth more than a razor 4 inches long and 2 inches wide should go for a lot more than 300+.
Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.
