Yeah, blatantly doing that to cover up they're mistake. Sounds like they don't know what they're doing. Definately wouldn't want a knife from there either! Glad they didn't put up a fight on the refund though.
Mastering implies there is nothing more for you to learn of something... I prefer proficient enough to not totally screw it up.

Thanked: 1371Shiny sells higher on eBay. There are a lot of sellers that don't know anything about razors buffing away and passing them off on unsuspecting customers.
Caveat emptor and whatnot...
Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government.

Sorry I dont, thinking back I should have made a video of it. Its like a popcan, it even makes the popping sound when you push it back and fourth.
Most importantly, they admitted it was their fault and re listed

Thanked: 13245JMHO here gents,,,
But looking closely at the spine and the heel on the e-bay pics, I believe that the issue was a re-grind and not buffing...
Both of these areas look very Un-WadenButcherish (yep that is a word)
Anyway that is just what I think, doesn't mean I am right, and that doesn't change the fact that it was overdone...
Mod Note: Moved to the Auction Forum where we can discuss problem/issue plagued razors on the BayLast edited by gssixgun; 03-07-2013 at 11:57 PM.

Shame Shame Shame!!!!! I thinks its good you posted it, it would be absurd if an SRP member got burned the same way you did when you had an opportunity to prevent it. IMO there should be an ebay scammmer alert on the top of the homepage, would save alot of brothers cash and heart ache over known offenders. Hope the mods left the warning float considering the nature of your transaction. The seller should have at least mentioned the compromised condition of the steel.
EDIT: +1 on what Glen said, the spine is all wrong, nope it aint just 'weird' hone ware!Last edited by JoeLowett; 03-07-2013 at 11:56 PM.
