How does musgo compare to body shop maca root or Crabtree and Evelyn creams? I have fauldings too, but that is not as good as these so I will exclude it. Not scent wise obviously, but in other aspects.
I find BS Macca Root lathers really easily too, Musgo Real is in the same category. I haven't tried the C&E creams, only their Nomad soap. I think Men'sBiz are out of Musgo Real classic at the moment. Portugal online would have it, that's a good shop too; but of course about 15 days for postage.

That Maca Root is great stuff and two others, Nivea and Kaloderma, do well to. The last two are easily available locally here but don't know about OZ.

Thanks bob, I think nivea would be gettable easily enough, but I have never heard of kaloderma. I was also thinking of Palmolive cream, then I could make double Palmolive uberlather. The Palmolive comes in at around the same price as fauldings, or slightly more. The musgo is obviously more pricey, but I have found that I really enjoy using the C&E west Indian lime because of the scent, as well as the fact that it is a really good cream. I went in to get sandalwood but decided on the lime instead. Really considering the edt, but it is $60.

Palmolive is a good one too but we can't get that locally here. For some reason I really like the scent of Palmolive. Kaloderma is a German shave cream that Safeway grocery stores used to carry here in their pharmacy.

No panic, we can get Palmolive on line, sticks too, from two Canadian sources. You just can't walk into any store locally and get it. Yea Arko is a good one too, very slick with a heavy lemon scent.

Ohh, that sounds nice, I am on a citrus tip at the moment, I might have to try and get some, is it only a stick, or do they make a cream too?

Not sure if Arko is available in cream form. I have a vague recollection of a post on here saying it was. Personally, I like the stick format as it makes for no fuss no muss shaving and it is great for traveling.

Yes except that I have enough Palmolive sticks to last me about 3 Years ifnot longer, I got a BIT carried away with how many I would need when I grated them into my work and home bowls, I will have a look at men's bits later to see.
    Thanks ed.
