Thanked: 0Waiting on my razor
Just bought a whipped dog razor and poor mans strop. Can't wait for them to get here. I've been shaving with a DE razor for a year and a half now and wanted to try straight razor shaving. I'm excited, my wife thinks I have too much shaving stuff already.

Welcome to the forum, as has been said, your other half thinking you have too much stuff is a common theme. One razor and one strop is not a huge addition though. Well unless you've currently got a razor and a stick of soap and a brush, then I guess you have increased your collection by 66.6% recurring. I seem to be amassing shaving creams currently. Though my collection is still modest, and.mostly lower end.

Soon you start to get a bit of this and that and then she'll be like "your obsessed". I mean 15 razors, 8 paddles, 12 hones, 4 strops, a few creams and soaps, 4 brushes, 7 pastes/sprays etc etc isn't that much for 7 months is it. I'm sure you've all done it.

I'm with kees. I got back into straights about a month ago and went from 3 razors that I've had for 25 years to 18 now and waiting on the next to arrive. but then I looked at my wife's beauty shop in the bathroom and don't feel bad.
