Thread: What's your approach to refreshing a pretty good edge?

I'm jealous that's are great set of sharpening stones ya got there. I went back to diamond spray on felt the stripped with roughy leather finishing on English leather and the blade can alive again. I bet that 12K is awesome.

Have you tried some extra long stropping sessions ? If you go to the stones start at 12 and go very light. That 12 works fast so be deliberate with your laps and it shouldn't take too many. :<0)

60 strops is what I've been doing routinely. Not extra long, I suspect.

Lynn does a video on just this subject. It is titled Honing-Refreshing razors. Helped me out a lot!
