I believe your facial hair is determined by your DNA and no matter what you do is going to change it. Unless you take some mega hormones or some such. Over the past 2 years, I've went from cartridge shaving to DEs to Straights and my beard is still the same, just mowed down more efficiently.

Its been 1 week to the day since my last, so i have a fair bit of growth.
When i use to shave with a 5 blade, or my DE, my facial hair would come back course and kinda stiff. like you would expect of facial hair.
However, after using the SR my facial hair is very soft and gentle to the touch. its nice, but kinda weird..
Is it from using a straight? or as a result of my now using lather and aftershave..
Its no big deal, just took me by surprise.
I have also noticed, im getting more facial hair at a much faster rate now. my sparse areas are filling in rather rapidly, and i love it Always wanted the ability to grow a nice full beard, and now it looks like a good possibility!
I guess the more even growth might be due to the fact that a SR cuts the hair off at skin level, while a 5 blade razor may 'pull' the whiskers out and then cut them (that seems to be a marketing angle). Maybe the lengths of the hair post shave are now more uniform?

Stranger, if you passing meet me and desire to speak to me, why should you not speak to me? And why should I not speak to you?
