Thanked: 8All I Want for Christmas
Hello everyone! I know I'm getting anxious, lol I have been approved for disability because my back problems keep me from working in a normal job (if there is such a thing) lol I am hoping to get my back pay and that is what I'm going to buy my shaving supplies with. I have no idea how long it is going to take to get it, but I REALLY hope to get it before Christmas. I know it may sound kinda funny but I've been practicing with a butter knife about the angles and such. Having to use this horrid horrid canned sludge. I just am really hoping to get it soon. Wish me luck!

Thanked: 8The blade I was thinking about getting is a Hart Steel 6\8th satin finish. I haven't heard much about that brand but most of what I DID hear was positive.

I remember some talk about the earlier harts having odd blade geometry that made honing difficult, but from what I have heard recently it has improved.
I have only picked this up from a few threads, so please don't take any of it as absolute, it may just be worth using the search at the top right and doing a bit of digging.Bread and water can so easily become tea and toast
