Welcome JJV749KDV! I'm 54, this past June I got a safety razor was impressed with the shaves, and decided to give straights a try. So yeah we can all learn something new. The shaves just keep getting better. After shaving with cartridges and getting tired of paying ridiculous prices, then switching to an electric (for the last 15 years), and getting tired of crappy shaves,I think I've finally got the right idea, with the help of SRP.

Keep your concentration high and your angles low!

Despite the high cost of living, it's still very popular.

I don't think anything other than a straight can be called shaving. Maybe hacking beard reduction?

I am all about some good sippin bourbon and stories, it would be a great way to spend an afternoon and evening.

    Hey Joe,

I know whatcha mean. Truth is everyone here learns something about shaving day by day. There's so much to learn, explore, test and experiment with that the learning process never seems to end......Thankfully!!

    Keep having fun!!
