Thanked: 9As already suggested, your stropping may have dulled the other just a bit. Know anyone locally you can contact? You can always send it out and have it honed.

Thanked: 0I don't think it is the stropping i have stroped the Dovo best when it starts to pull and it is fantastic again. Both razors were honed by Mr abrams i had tryed to hone the 4580 he fixed it i just wonder of it has to have a littke different angle or what to try i like to try to alternate between the two ordered a white handle Dovo best from StR Designs should arrive today will know tomorrow.
Thanks, everyone

Just to simplify things rule yourself out of all problems you may be having at 2 1/2 months. There could be some bad juju at play or the universe is having a molecular sub atomic war on the bevel of one of your razors. Forge ahead, there is plenty more fun to be had.

Thanked: 0Hi All
As i have had trouble with this razor pulling and just can't seem to find the sweet spot
even before it was stroped and tryed stropping to see if it would help as my other razor
always seems to be fine after 7 laps on pasted cloth strop cleaned 25 on clean and 50 laps
on leather i don't think stropping caused it. Maybe this razor needs a slight angle difference.

Thanked: 1185I am not familiar with either blade but it sounds to me like you are starting to form an opinion on which type of blade you prefer. One is thicker, more hollow, heavier, longer, or something your not getting a good technique with. JMHO
