Thread: I have no idea where to purchase.

So I decided to look into straight razor shaving. Heres the thing though. I have no idea where to start and the best place to buy a straight razor kit + essentials. Anyone?

+1 on Straight Razor Designs. Not only do they have everything you need in one place, the razors come shave ready, come with a cert for another honing, and they'll give you as much advice as you need. Classified section is also cool if you see something you like. But if you think you'll want to maintain your own blade, I think a new blade may take some variables out and give you a better chance of success. JMO

Maybe there is some good shop close to you, that could help if you put where are you from in your profile.

If I lived in the USA I'd be onto Straight Razor Designs. Fantastic selection of everything you could need. I've also seen quite a few posts on Whipped Dog but again, I've never used them as I'm here in Blighty. Merry Christmas

Well thanks for the input everybody! It seems like straightrazordesigns won this with no contest. Ill be sure to check them out. By the way I'm looking to go directly to a straight razor instead of safety razors first.
