    Default Poljot Signal Alarm Watch

...aside from my RAD sickness, I also have a deep sickness for mechanical watches. Been a busy year for me that way....

This one is in the mail, fascinating piece from the Soviet Union, an automatic Poljot Signal Alarm Watch

Just right click and hit, "Translate"...easy peasy....I Google translate "straight razor" into Spanish and Google tells me it's, "navaja de afeitar".

So I hit ebay.es, enter in, "Palmera 14 navaja de afeitar" and Bob's your Uncle, or a cool dude who lives in Thunder Bay....either will do....can find all types of stuff using, "navaja de afeitar".

    Good hunting....

Google Chrome has the feature he is describing. Others can probably do it, but not without additional plugins/downloads.

    Aloha!

After much procrastination, I finally ordered one of those Chinese Straight Razor Shavettes that are supposed to "Mimic" a straight razor shave. I have had no luck with Shavettes in the history of my shaving.... or should I say.... I have not had the same quality shave from a Shavette that I get from a straight blade.

There was a thread on here a while ago with this razor and a link to AliBabaExpress to buy it, so I finally ordered it last month and it arrived today. Decent quality considering the manufacture. It comes with Cloud Blades and a blade IN THE RAZOR so take care when you unpack it. Also comes with a black fabric pouch. I'll see how it shaves sometime this coming week and post the results I get. Cloud blades are not too bad IMO, as they are middle of the road. Not too sharp but forgiving IMO. For the rock bottom price on AliExpress, I had to try it.

Thanks. I'll probably shave with it tomorrow and/or Tuesday and let you gents know how I liked it. The feel of it in the hand sure mimics a straight blade. Much better than any other Shavette I have ever held.
