Thanked: 1184STOP buying razors. Build a forge, find a 150 year old anvil, get/build a grinder and save more by just making your own :<0)
Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.

Thanked: 485You're so funny Tim! Love your posts and good natured banter!
You self corrected, it was a three razor case; and they're buggers to find! Got two now plus one razor lives in its coffin. I've had a few more and traded them or given them away. BTW, I (CMS) would highly recommend the leather three razor case from Executive Shaving http://www.executive-shaving.co.uk/l...-stitching.php
CMS does indeed shave mainly WTG; a single pass is the norm, two passes for when the mood strikes and/or on the SBVSSS (Sunday Bedroom Vintage Shaving Stand Shave).
CMS is not as OASRS (Obsessive About Straight Razor Shaving) as CMS once was; OAB (Obsessive About Bouldering) has taken over. Previous Os (Obsessions) were: OAVC (Obsessive About Vintage Cufflinks), OAVFP (Obsessive About Vintage Fountain Pens), OAVMFC (Obsessive About Vintage Medium Format Cameras) and OA8MMFAFP (Obsessive About 8MM Films And Film Projectors).
I'm sure there'll be many more Os (Obsessions), I love my obsessions, they keep me ticking...
To be without obsessions! Oh, the mundanity! [picture Lord Byron passing the back of his limp hand across his wearied brow while drinking wine from a flagon and smoking opium, cigarettes and hashish...]Last edited by carlmaloschneider; 03-28-2014 at 09:36 AM.
Stranger, if you passing meet me and desire to speak to me, why should you not speak to me? And why should I not speak to you?

Looks like you have a "taste" for new razors. You could have at least twice as many if you bought vintage...what were you thinking?
The easy road is rarely rewarding.
