Thanks for the reinforcement on the three-incher, I have been led to believe that is the best thing I can do to help myself a new stopper. And it is always good to hear approval concerning the choice of vendor!

More good tidings on the strop... Do you happen to have some good "in-the-flesh" (side pun, heh) photos of that Aust razor? The stock pictures look good, but don't they always?

I only have experience with the King Cutter. The wife bought it for me for my Bday. I am happy with it. Its a little on the light side but it is a super easy razor to use, comfortable to work with, and holds a nice edge. Nice looking blade ethcing as well.

Do you have any personal pics of the razor you would be willing to share?

P.S. Next year update this thread and let us know how many straight razors you own.

No way; my wife affords me some luxuries, but I gotta space them out! I have a month and a half to decide, so I'm doing my due diligence.

On another tack, I have a rather full face; (still fat, getting smaller) is there a particular blade profile or grind I should be looking at/ avoiding? Or just stop over-thinking it and pick up a good standard 5/8th blade from one of the reputable manufacturers and get to it?
