1. I don't think after all this time I would change my user name, though I have thought of other ones since joining that I ve used on other forums. There is only one other forum where I use RS, but it's a car forum.
2. As for what I was thinking way back when in 2009, I had just finished reading a really long book and like the character, hence my user name. Why doesn't the taco truck drive around the neighborhood selling tacos & margaritas???

Rearden Steel
It's one of the main characters from, "Atlas Shrugged"(fiction) by Ayn Rand, Hank Rearden, owner of Rearden Steel...fascinating read, covers a huge spectrum of philosophies, spurned a movement of thought, and some consider Ayn Rand one of the most evil people ever to put pen to paper - worth reading, without a doubt.
I loved the book by the way, a great read!Last edited by Phrank; 01-10-2015 at 02:42 AM.

I've posted it before but I was thinking GUrk GIggler.
In all fairness I thought about it later, after I got a 12" coticule, but I'm also really fast with the slurry and causality doesn't matter

I came up with "Phrank" as a sys admin type username in 1993, and just kept using it, it was a phonetic spelling, and since my name is Andrew, I figured it was fairly unique at the time, should've given it more thought when I signed up here in retrospect.

Thanked: 4206Atlas Shrugged is one of my personal fav's as well.
Given the book by a fellow tradesman years back because he said the philosophies reminded him of mine. I think it was a little insulting a reference.. hehe
I've been MikeB52 online ever since 1990. A nod to the bomber, not the shooter.
Original handle was N.R.Key, back in my online gaming days. But someone took that one over and I grew up a bit..
