Thread: Multiple razors - why?

Besides having a spare in case of damage or inability to hone a razor when necessary I went past two razors out of curiousity - wondering how blade shape and steel origin might change the equation. (It does and it doesn't.) Back in the day you probably could've tried your buddies razor or gone to any barber to see how something different shaved.
More than a pair is just self-indulgent. Not that that's a bad thing."We'll talk, if you like. I'll tell you right out, I am a man who likes talking to a man who likes to talk."

It's kind of like screwdrivers -- for 99% of the people 2 would be all you'd ever need -- a medium sized phiilips head and a medium sized flat. But most people (speaking for myself) have a wide range of screwdrivers from very tiny to very large and of different handle materials... a bunch of very similar ones that wind up being duplicative , yes, but not exactly the same and never excessive.

Thanked: 603You can have everything, and still not have enough.
I'd give it all up, for just a little more.
