So today s shave didn't go as well as I would of liked. Got a new ti razor but it was pulling like crazy . Felt like my face was being ripped. The new lucky tiger grooming system was amazing. I watched a couple more stropping videos and have come to the conclusion my stropping needs more practice.

Has the TI been honed, or is it the factory edge, i dont believe that out of the box they are usually shave ready.

Yes the ti wad honed correctly . Bought it from vintage razors llc who say they use Lynn to do all their honing. I am pretty sure that my stropping was the problem.

I'm roughly three months into the SR journey so far and I found my biggest hurdle was stropping as well, so I know right where you are in this. I've had to send my razor back to SRD for honing twice so far, but this time I really think I have the feel of the technique and a good rhythm down- it's not anywhere near as easy as it looks, but you'll get there! I've had tremendous help from the members here, as well as the resources on this site.

I see your a firefighter as well, haven't you noticed a huge improvement in your skin after sweating in gear? I have, no more breakouts, in-grown hairs or chaffing- that makes the whole process totally worth it. Stay safe brother!

Especially during pt my face isn't on burning like it usually does. Also with my normal razor I have to shave every day to keep a good seal on my scba. With straight razor shaving I can wait two days and still have a good seal.

So today's shave didn't go as well as I would have liked. Busted out the ti razor that I have been having trouble with. Still pulling, I have a feeling I rolled the edge. I'm going to strop it on some .5 diamond spray on some felt then take it up from there. Hopefully I didn't roll the edge to bad and I can bring it back. Also it seems like my lather is almost to thick and dry if that makes any sense . It almost seems like my razor is getting stuck in it. No nicks today. Tried a Art of Shaving shave cream wasn't to impressed with it. Keep you guys posted.
