Here is a fellow knew how to shave with a deep dimple in his chin ........ can't make out the razor though
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

when I started the round point was best for me .. I have a few shaves under my belt and its rare to nick myself !!! but when I do its about 100% square point !!! ..lol..

Sorry my favourites are square points but have rounds and Spanish also,
but at the end off the day the point makes no real difference as I have had a goatee since before I started with a str8, and use the middle of the blade not the point to shave my face & trim my goatee, so whatever appeals to you is the only difference at the end of the day
JMHO
but yes a spike point can bite you if carelessSaved,
to shave another day.

Gentlemen,
I still believe nothing beats a 4/8, 5/8 or 6/8 round point for a beginner. For the variety of dimples on the face, a wee bit of creative stretching, with zero pressure, should take care of it.
