Thanked: 3215Great, you will find using a combination of techniques to get to problem areas of your face and neck as you fine tune you beard mapping.
I use the back of my finger against the grain, to find problem areas, and then experiment with techniques to shave those areas.
Remember you shave with about 1 inch of the blade at a time, you may be removing hair across 3 inches of blade, but you rarely are shaving the full 3 inches. Trying to do so is a good way to cut yourself.
The goal is a smooth, close, bloodless shave.
Enjoy,
Marty
