    Default Newbee here ...

Howdy all, I've seen links here from the knife forums and now that I'm moving away from the "Disposable World". I'm a line cook that has a addiction to carbon steel knives. The thought of getting an older straight razor for shaving has me all excited.

One thing I have noticed is that there is not alot of info out there on the anatomy of the razor itself (that I could find). I see all these numbers the members use here but they dont tell me anything. Yup I'm greener than green here... I dug around the library and found nothing, had to request the only book in the system from another branch, a collecters book.

Anyway I'll sign off on my first post and keep reading up on the steel here

    Smile Welcome, DwarvenChef

There's lots of great stuff in the Permanent Archives of the Help Files.
That's under our Library dropdown on the Home page. Read it ... ALL!
    This is good too.
