That's exactly what I started with and I did ruin the edge right off the bat (dropped it) . They fixed it even though it was repair and not a normal honing with no additional charge. SRD didn't have to do that, and I appreciate how accommodating they were. The strop is fantastic and the blade shaves like a dream. It's a great value and an awesome store.
