My crooked beard growth pattern (downwards helicoidal left-to-right on my neck and caothic at the chin) favors my dominant hand, but I shave my face with both hands. A killer-honed blade heel is a must for me when I shave the left side of neck with the right hand.
My beard is not the only thing crooked on me. I have a shooting glass blinded at left to go rifle shooting because I am cross-eyed. I think my brain became a bit undecided on which way to go during embryonic development.

On your shooting glasses, did you use just a piece of scotch tape? Something semi transparent or did you go full opaque?

Steve, I just picked an old pair of safety goggles and sandblasted the left lens by the inside. It blurs the left eye vision, but still permits light to get in to keep my irises as closed as possible.

That's where I was headed with that!

A dab of Vaseline or gun grease/oil works too.

Just enough to blur the focus to the other eye.
