    Default Ambidextrous Shaving

Just curious - I've seen both methods and just wondering how many of you, today, shave with both hands? Figure a poll might be interesting. Also, feel free to comment if you've made significant changes from when you learned to what you do know as far as this goes.

Still fairly new to this and learning. My goal is Ambidextrous Shaving.

Dominant only, never even tried using my left.

I remember when I started out that it was hard to see the blade sometimes but that's been a non-issue for quite a while since nowadays I don't even need a at all mirror to get a good shave(but I mostly use it anyway because it saves time).

Both hands for shaving with a straight and dominant hand (right) only for shaving with a DE or SE.

I tried shaving with the non dominant and found I could become proficient if I continued, but it isn't worth the effort AFAIC. I've been at it with the dominant hand so long that my routine is working too well to bother changing it. Referring to straight razors, I've never even tried with a DE, and no plans to start.

Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

I started with my dominate hand and then slowly learned my non dominate. Just my dominate hand for a DE though.

I am ambidextrous with many things and shaving is no different. I am still new but find it easier to shave this way.

From the get-go I focused on ambidextrous shaves when I switched to the straight. Six months later and I'm still not proficient with this technique, but am getting better and more comfortable with each shave.

I shave with both hands with a straight,I didn't really find any difficulty in doing this. However I did once try using both hands with a DE, that did feel strange.
