Not so, not so. He's just saying he hasn't had a razor for 20 years. He may not have been alive for a lot of those 20 years, but he STILL didn't own a razor for them. You're assuming that he's indicating he was alive for at least 20. I haven't owned a cat for 1500 years...

I'm gonna jump right in there and suggest he's bearded; even though he comes from CALIFORNIA on not Canada...

Stranger, if you passing meet me and desire to speak to me, why should you not speak to me? And why should I not speak to you?

I should probably pick up an inexpensive razor and get acquainted with shaving again. I'm sure I will need one for clean up when I'm learning. Maybe I will wait until my Birthday to attempt the first straight razor shave.

@Carl- You can take comfort in knowing that I too will probably be flinching while watching myself strop the razor for the first time.

Actually Erosadis said he hasn't used one in close to twenty years, that would indicate that he has used one at some point.

    SERGEANT semantics, please...

So, Erosadis, how can we assist? Would you like a cat to enjoy? I've got a whole bunch I'm not using...

No thank you. I have two dogs. Both of them do not like cats. I do appreciate the rest of the help though.

I bought a Mach 3 yesterday and did my first razor shave in a very, very long time. Need to get my face used to close shaves again. It doesn't like it yet. Still feels weird. I just used the bar soap I use in the shower. I may wait until tomorrow to try it again. didn't get the whole face, left the chin wiskers and mustache.

going to leave the link open on the computer to the shopping cart for Straight Razor Designs today. I slid my daughter the rest of the cash last night. My wife will help her order it.
