I was thinking this afternoon as I was installing the portable A/C in the bedroom window, " Those guys in Canada got it made."

Well, I like it cold, colder the better, nothing like opening your bathroom window an inch, and watching a thick vapor cloud of moisture get sucked out, and when it's gone, the air is crystal clear and crisp, and everything's nice and dry.

There is only about 2 months a year that I would consider not using the air con, and i would put a lot of consideration into that.

    Back to the OP.

Almost anything can be elevated to an Art Form.

The other day I watched my son change the diaper on my 11 month old, squirming granddaughter. When he was done, it was on but sagging and bunching like a bag of rocks.

Her mom laid her back down grabbed a fresh diaper and changed her in seconds, like a calf roper in a rodeo.

Yea, anybody can do most things, but not to an art form. Contrast and compare the current US President to the Canadian Prime Minister in the face of national crises.

Yes, we saw your President in a TV broadcast say his bit on our shooting before we saw old Stevie's face on TV to comment on it to the nation. Took him about a mere 11 hours to do a live broadcast to the nation. That is some kind of art form for sure. Sorry to be OT but Stevie is no prize in my books.

As far as PM's go in this country, compared to Chretian, who couldn't tie his shoes without losing a billion dollars, Stephen Harper is just plain old boring, mundane and business like for me, and, I think his statement was in keeping with the tone, and he embraced the Sergeant-at-Arms, after receiving a standing ovation. I think that's pretty classy in my opinion.
