Vintage Wade Butcher Sheffield England Straight Razor | eBay

because the seller has zero feedback and the sellers account was created a week ago. While the other one
Vintage Wilbert Safety Razor Shaving Acme Company | eBay
has a couple thousand responses 100% positive.
I didn't look at the sellers info just the razors. It looks to be in good condition but it's ended already anyways. But just to give you an idea that was about ten minutes of looking at razors online.

If you ever have a question about whether a razor is any good just ask and post photos or a link. And many of us will be able to tell if it's any good. If you do find one that you like but your not sure you can pm me the link and I will let you know what I think. If you do find something you want but it's not shave ready send it my way I'll hone it for you. Free of course just pay shipping. I have done this for several guys just starting out. Or you can send me the gold dollar. Maybe I can make it work and in the meantime you will have the shavette.

Also look into Whipped Dog Sight Unseen or even his Sight Unseen Flawed. You get a properly sharp SR for a very good price. Al is a great seller, ships fast and fills exactly the niche market for customers like you. I have two of his razors and shave with them daily!

I believe a few members have done this, some of them only to find the stuff for sale on ebay a week later.

I spoke with @razorfeld and even better news for @metulburr... Along with the shavette, I'm going to send along an actual straight razor. @razorfeld sent me a gold straight to help when I was learning. I'm going to send this along to metulburr and keep the "pay it forward" going. It was originally honed by @razorfeld and @cudarunner did a touch up on it recently as I didn't have my stropping down yet. It's a good shaver and should give him a chance to compare the shavette and a good straight.

No worries. Your tax dollars pay my salary so you basically paid for the Parker. And @razorfeld hooked me up with the straight I'm sending, so thank him.

Everything is in the mail. You'll have a great straight and a Parker if that doesn't work out. I sent you about 200 blades of different brands.

metulburr, just to keep the confusion from happening, Major is sending you a Gold Seal straight. NOT to be confused with the Chinese Gold Dollar. The Gold Seal is a reputable brand and an excellent shaver when maintained properly, as Major will tell you. Do enjoy and go slow to learn more in depth at each step you encounter.

Well done Major, you've earned yourself a free Master's class in honing if you're ever interested.
