    I remember "cold shaving" for me being extremely cold water, as I found it would contract the skin and feel like a closer shave, so cold water and my Osma shaving Soap with built in Alum in the recipe, was always a great feeling shave. Still after all the years, love my Osma Shave Soap.

    Some say hot water softens the whiskers for a smoother and closer shave and some say cold water makes the whiskers stand up at attention just like err.
