I will chime in here, not on the kids as I have none, Like 10Pups my parents lectured me on the danger of knives. I still managed to get three stitches off my first one (a whittling knife from my grand father) on the second day of owning it. Having said that, desiccant packets from shoes, clothing etc works well. If it is getting a bit old, pop it in the microwave for a 5 - 10 seconds at a time under a glass. If there is condensation on the inside of the glass wipe it out and give them another zap until the condensation does not appear. Viola desiccant rejuvenated. Put that in a sealable tub with some litmus paper to measure neutral acidity and you are going the whole hog.
A good lather is half the shave.
