I don't make resolutions as they are a recipe for disaster, but i basically don't need to buy anything until at least 2025 based on my calculation for how long my soap will last, however my aftershave will run out somewhere over the next 6-12 months. So I suppose it is to only buy what i need.

    1) Slowly invest in the tools and knowledge for restorations
    2) Remodel shave shack (tiny bathroom)
    3) Endeavor to take steps toward B, and not Z, in attaining proficiency and self-sufficiency in our art
    4) Savour the journey

Best wishes to all in the New Year, and Happy Shaving!

Will go nuts on straights, soaps, aftershaves, oils, strops... (i really can go on and on..)

Guess will have to wait till 2016 and regain my sanity then.

I'm with Ed on this one, my only New Years resolution has been to never make one, and I'm acing that one...and am with OCDShaver as well, take more time to enjoy my shaves. It seems I look forward to it so much, and then can't shake the habit of getting it done quickly from habit, rather than taking my time and enjoying....

I am going to try to stop rushing shaves in the morning with the DE and go back to using my straight more at night and taking my time to enjoy.

I'm happy with the Straights I have but maybe it's time to sell off some of them and hunt down more to restore.

Promise to get back on my Had/Rad/Mad medicine and stay on it this time. No more DR. shopping, that last lady doctor had a beard (gawd, I couldn't stop staring).
Soon as the facial scars heal and my parole officer clears me to possess edged weapons, I'm going to improve my shaving technique.

I too am not a big fan of new year's resolutions. They end up being an accurate list of things I didn't do or accomplish.
However, I've stuck with wet shaving this far, and it's worked so, here goes...
    1) Tame the AD beast. No purchases for the next four months at least, then re-asses
    2) Give straights another chance. Just got a new one, professionally honed. Maybe start a "100 shaves to a better me" thread...
    3) Enjoy every shave

    Great thread!
