But I really do like the Norton 4K/8K. I have had a fair amount of success myself this week. I honed up a couple of my straights and it has made a world of difference in my shaves! Now I just need a chromium paddle strop and I will be good to go.

Thank you --- I have a feeling that the Norton is a couple of steps in improvement over these waterstones ---but I think they're a pretty good buy. Congrats on your honing success as well.
