    Default Made me laugh.

    I was reading through the forums the other day, at the bottom of the page was a comment which went something like "oh my god what is my left ear doing in the sink"
    Well there I was all lathered up and just about to start on the left side of my face when I looked at my left ear, remembered the quote and started giggling.
    Now I am only a newbie at this game, but I guessed it was better to stop at that moment. The trouble is every time I look at my left ear I kind of snort a little and have to recompose myself. So far thankfully my left ear is where it should be.
    Anybody had anything similiar?

    We have a member named Earcutter. You can easily guess what I am thinking when I do the XTG on my sideburns.

    I'm a noob with SRs too. I just got a vintage Wostenholm & Son in the classifieds here last week that has a spike point. On the ATG pass on my first shave with that razor, I clipped my ear lobe where it connects to my mug with the tip. The tip was so sharp (thanks Wolfpack34) I barely felt it, but there was enough blood to make me REAL aware of where my ears sit on my head when I shave now.

    I put a post on another forum that sideburns and straights might not be compatable for me. I have taken a chunk of mine every week since I started with the straights. They grow back, but are very short. Now the first thing I do before I lather is look at how much sideburn is left before I start.

    Many times when a Newbie has posted about getting his first cut or nick I tell them;

    "Wait till you cut your ear"!

    I work for a Major Grocery Chain and currently there is a notice posted to request new name tags, it includes options such as when you started (must be 5 years ago or more) and if you speak a second language.

    I'm VERY TEMPTED to write 'English' as a Second Language (it's the only one I know) just for S**t's and Giggles just to see if it comes with my name tag. (they use a smaller tag hanging down from your name and service years).

    I apologize for hijacking this tread.
