Thanked: 1Lathering with Proraso soap
So i took a members advice while i wait for my straight razor to arrive (shaving with a mach3 atm) and lathered up with proraso white. Kinda felt as if it needed more water than my van der hagen soap but needless to say, i feel like im definately getting the hang of the consistency of my lather. Dont really care for the oats scent on the white proraso. I also bought the green and red, ill give those a go later this week! [emoji41]

Thanked: 220You can't go wrong with the green. Cooling menthol, and is easily one of my best soaps for making quick, full, long lasting lather.

Thanked: 3226Yes sir, the green Proraso has a good menthol cooling kick to it and the red has a sandalwood scent which I found to be on the weak side. They both lather well though. Anytime you switch soaps you may have to adjust your lathering technique as they are all not the same in what they like.

Thanked: 4827it is a good plan. I think if you have one step mastered before you start adding more it cannot be a bad thing. Sounds like a good time to me and I like that soap.

Proraso red in bowl need more water like white. Proraso blue (only tube) and proraso green work normal. I prefer proraso white because is really good for skin (white line products are for sensitive skin) but the smell of blue tube is very good...

Assuming you are speaking of the soaps in the tubs. Green and esp the red rock. The white, meh.
Love my Proraso green and red, A/S, but the white is notsogood, IMO
Some may like it.......Have not seen a discussion on it in a long time."Don't be stubborn. You are missing out."
I rest my case.

I've got the blue cream in a tube and it lathers very well. I also have the green tub and love it!
