We use WD40 as aftershave and underarm deodorant in Australia. Never hurt anyone, but then most of us die from snake, spider, or croc bites before the cancer can get us.

Ps I use wd40 on razors.

WD/40 is like using 3 in 1 oil, might as well use some potent diesel fuel conditioner. I use heavy mineral oil, it rinses off easy with no residue or smell, and I've never had rust or any other problems with it.

I've inhaled many things in my life & I'm still here at 59 knock on wood! We all inhale something in the air everyday that we don't know about that could be toxic to us. Even Bill Clinton said he didn't inhale! Liar!!!!
I use Tuf-Glide & it works well for me!

I have some WD 40 but I don't use it on my razors. I use it out in the garage on less critical things like a rusty bolt or nut that needs more ease of removal.

I use Tuf-Glide on my pivots & I use the SRD Straight Razor Oil & the SRD Straight Razor Oil Applicator for coating my blades. I also have an optional Tuf-Glide rag sealed in a screw top plastic container. I have used WD 40 to coat things in my garage to keep from rusting but over time a light film of rust developed. It might be because I live in the Houston, Tx area & we are so close to the coast (45-50 miles) & the humidity is so high here as opposed to other areas of the country so I'm not disagreeing with others who use it. If I had a choice, I would move back to Arizona or a dryer place where nothing rust's. I lived in the Phoenix area for about 1 1/2 years & I saw older cars & trucks driving on the streets in perfect condition for example, no rust where here these older vehicles have already become rust buckets & have been in the bone yards for years or have already been crushed & recycled into something else! Now for things I coat for longer periods of time in my garage, I have a spray type grease that comes out thin but sets up like a grease coating.

I use WD-40 for dozens of jobs,, I buy it by the gallon at Home Depot to use in a squirt bottle.
But like Utopian,, I use mineral oil on my razors,,, no problem yet.
