Camellia oil (derived from a flower in southeast Asia) was used by samurai to protect blades.
Mineral oil is slightly thicker and effective.

That's weird I just bought some mineral oil from Walmart just a couple months ago, I use it on all my Ivory As for the blades , either ballistrol , tuff glide or just good ole wd40. Also I,m more fond of rem oil I always have some around for the guns ,, but mineral oil , I haven't ever had and issue finding it , and as said its just unscented baby oil that's abundant everywhere. Thanked: 1Since you're putting the stuff on your blade, I'd expect that you might want food grade mineral oil. You can get food grade at a kitchen supply. It's used on wooden cutting boards, utensils, etc.
If you're good with non-food grade, isn't baby oil mineral oil? I think fragrances are added to baby oil, but they might have unscented.

The Johnson & Johnson Baby Oil MSDS says it it low viscosity mineral oil + fragrance. I rubbed it on all my babies and none of 'em ever rusted.
