I am currently having 198 straight razors in my collection and trying to have them all in rotation. Twenty of them are Mastro Livi and they are the ones I use the most. I usually shave three or four times a week and three out of four are Mastro Livi because they simply are superior shavers and give the very best shave.

There are a few locally with well over 1k nice/ restored razors to show. That is not too terribly unusual. Just they have them displayed rather than in a box somewhere. No, they don't allow tours!
Few, though use them for shaving. That is why I enjoy watching the SOTD.

I have about 20. 9 of those are Bokers which I'm constantly adding to. All kept in Tupperware box with silica gel sachets and each in individual silicon treated sleeves. No oil. Just dried well after use.

Thanked: 146I have 50 currently in rotation, not counting the 4 rolls razor and my grandfathers 1910 GEM which gets used once a year on his birthday. Trying to limit it to 50, now when I get one, I pay one forward. Haven't brought myself to sell any yet, but I won't buy something unless it really catches my eye. I have a few that are in a drawer with bad/warped grinds that I try to hone every now and again. All the rest are in a cabinet in cigar boxes lined with non porous foam, about 8 or 9 to a box and a friend of mine made me a 3 drawer box that holds around 20. Normally, I go straight from bottom to top, every once in a while one of them speaks to me and gets the call early...lol

Good luck with that. A couple of years ago I realized that I had 140-something razors, took a hard look and decided to cut it to 30. I gave/traded them away for nearly a year and think I bottomed at 32, now have 45, and I have to confess that I just ordered another. Admit it, we are junkies!

I have about 25 currently in rotation and this is limited by the size of the cabinet I keep daily rotation razors on. I have another 25 or so that are shave ready. I have another 50 (guessing) that need some kind of attention (mainly just honing) to make shave ready. Every so often, I hone one up and make shave ready and put into daily rotation and then must remove one to make room for the latest. So one goes into shave ready box. Once in a while I switch things up and swap a few razors from shave ready box to the daily rotation. I keep daily rotation out in open on top of a cabinet in bathroom and I don't oil them. No rust issues. I keep other razors in closet in a couple of small plastic storage tubs (which are both full). Have curbed my RAD a bit, but still a junkie!
