Thaeris, I almost stole your pic of the T & H wet pack from your thread, Thaeris's Collection for post #9 here.
By the way, what happened to the picture of your travel box in that thread? I think it was about the fifty picture from the start.

Thanked: 3228You could also check out the Daines and Hathaway models Daines & Hathaway - Fendrihan Canada . Might be a good deal in there considering the exchange rate on the Canadian dollar right now.

The green D&H is a true beauty !
I don't know who makes all of those pieces, they seem identical from one seller to another..
I have some more travel stuffs than I had before, I'm really keen on those equipments...

I have suspected that Daines and Hathaway are the makers and are making them for Truefitt & Hill, Trumper's and D. R. Harris. I think all three of these London shops offer the same wet-pack (or have in the past).

Thanked: 0My sister-in-law wants to try and construct one from some sort of heavy cotton fabric. Anybody tried this, or have some patterns?

First off all, welcome skunkfunk to SRP. As for a travel kit, the fabric would be duck cotton, a heavy weight fabric used for many, many things. I'm sure if she looks in the fabric stores, like Jo-Ann's, in the pattern section she should find a pattern or two in the craft section of patterns. Alternately, you could design a roll-up type with the pockets, slots and loops that you feel you would need and let her make it for you. The possibilities actually are endless and you would have a one of a kind. If no pattern exists find and show her a carpenter's roll-up that is used for storing and carrying things like chisels and screwdrivers as a starting point. Harbor freight is a good place to look for those.
