Thanked: 4830I think there are quite a few who would rather not. Many that simply only ever do touch ups, some that have kept and edge going forever with pastes or a barbers hone. They pop up every now and then but for the most part are here and quiet about honing or not honing as the case may be. It is expensive to set up for a full set of hones and unless you restore or simply have a hone acquisition disorder there is really no economy in it.You first razor may require more time getting touched up in the first year but you can get by with pastes from there on, unless something unusual happens, like kissing a faucet or a drop.
It's not what you know, it's who you take fishing!
