I am a one-hander - right. As my shaving has developed, I am starting to realise though that there are some passes that I just can't get with the right hand only - in particular the atg on the right jawline and the wtg on the left cheek has never felt right.

I think I will start trying to use the left.

I too am a one handed -right shaver. Been doing it this way for two+ years now I am ok with it. For me it's not worth the nicks I would get trying to learn to use my left hand. I still get a BBS shave.

I'm a hand switcher, although I'm 2/3rds right hand biased. Left side, left hand. Right side, upper lip and chin are right handed. I'm still finding my way XTG and ATG passes.

I use the right hand for 3/4's of the shave and then use the left for the places where the contortions would be too difficult for my right to reach comfortably. As with SunSi these are right jawline/neck atg and left cheek wtg.

I used the left from the off as I'd watched the shaving vid on google so bit the bullet first time out. Very shaky at first but glad I did!

I'm left handed as well, and I switch to my right hand sometimes when I shave the right side of my face. However, when I shave the left side of my neck, from south to north, I hold the blade with my left ring finger on the bottom (or wrong side) of the tang. The scales are above my ring finger.
