Well if you are wanting to get away from disposables then I would say go for it You will enjoy the shave much more than boring ol cartridges and get a more quality shave. I used a razor similar to what you have pictured for close to 10years and hated shaving so I just grew a beard and after going to a straight I enjoy the shave so much more. There is a ton of great info and great guys on here willing to help you in just about anyway they can. Ask questions and check out the library lots of good info there as well.
