Well I don't think you'll be disappointed with any of those three. The TI could be a slightly (but realistically not much in it) better shaver than the two Dovos, but the Dovos will probably be built better (i.e. Dovo have a quality control dept ) than the TI.

If it was me I'd go for the TI, but again you can't really go wrong with any of those really.

If you order honing at the same time, Classicshaving will probably charge you an extra 'split order fee' (about $4.50 i think) as the razor gets shipped twice, first to Lynn for honing then from Lynn to you.

    Hi Derek
All 3 are good razors so just put on a blindfold and grab a pin. I am sure you will get all the help you will need here an all aspects of SR shaving. Very friendly bunch! See Tony Miller for your strop is my second bit of advise, you won't regret it.

In my honest opinion you're better off to buy a 2nd hand razor which is shave ready. That way, you dont waste a load of money when you wreck it tryna hone or strop it. lol

Once you get good, then pay for a new razor.

    Hi Derek,

    enjoy your stay here.

About buying, surely a Lynn-honed razor will be one the best option, as buying a really good 2nd hand from a well-known member.
About buying from USA, pay a little atttention to shipping cost and, above all, to taxes. When I got a package from Classic Shaving (150 $ order if I'm right) I had to pay nearly 60 euros/80 dollars. Other times I bought from USA, adding shipping and taxes (even on Ebay items), the total price was higher than buying from UK (even GBP-Euros change isn't convenient) or Europe.
Added to this, that oversea shippping involves more passages and causes more often lost packages and unpleasant experiences (I speak by personal experience, and looking all the passages a package does as shown by trackings).

Now, when I can, I try to stick to Europe, even though SRP members sell such good stuff that I can't avoid....

Anyway, Italy is different from UK, but pay attention.
