Default So maybe the GD wasn't as sharp as I thought.

I guess like everyone keeps telling me...

You just need to feel the difference to know.

To be fair to the people that sent my gold dollar, I tried my first-ever stropping session on it, when I shouldn't have even stropped it after it was sent to me as "shave ready" .

    However.

There was a big difference, that even me with only my fifth shave today can feel.

Hard to put my finger on it, exactly. But yeah, it was a big difference. Also even the blade seems to be a better quality metal, and the fact that it doesn't have near paper thin flimsy scales doesn't hurt.

I definitely noticed that difference in sharpness when I went to take my first left hand stroke after finishing the right cheek with my right hand.

Try to line it up perfectly with the bottom of my side-burn, and Bam! Wasn't watching my angle and got a nice bite. Kept looking for blood and was sure I should be seeing it but didn't. Couple minutes later I saw a nice little one inch red line perfectly lined up with my side-burn.

If I had this razor for the first four shaves, I may not have ever gotten to the chin, and mustache like I was with the other one.

Muchas gracias to Rodb for getting my first real edge here REALLY QUICKLY, and thanks to my assistant Isabella for helping me whip up some shaving cream, and firing off questions, and comments until I broke in the razor with first blood.

    Gotta love em
