Thread: Why izit that.....

I'm an every day shaver myself. If I get too agressive on the chin and get a bit of the burn, I'll pull out my trusted Gem 1912 SE safety and get a beautiful shave and a rest from the straight. When I do skip a day, however, I get a nice shave the next day - that's for sure!

Thanks for the replies, guys. I'm glad to see I was o.k. with the every other day thing. I thought with the seven day sets that some sites sell, it was the norm to every day shave, but I found some do, and some don't. I guess I can stop honing my razors now! I'm there!

Great observations. I usually shave every two or three days but I sometimes get the same irritation if I do two in a row. I just have written it off as a bad stropping or being in a rush.
If that is the case, that there's not much for the blade to grab on to, those in the corp sector might want to get those razors honed to day 1 feather sharp?

Hmm... interesting read here. I was planning on shaving everyday. I'll have to try different shaving schedules now.
