Was your Dovo brand new and it had the dink in it when you received it? If so, I recommend you send it back and have them replace it.

It sounds like it wouldn't take too much honing out, but you'd need to know what you were doing. Many of the honemeisters on here would be able to help if you contact them (see Honing forum).
