There's no offence, just a gentle nudge of encouragement. If you have the tools why not use them?
As others have said if you do decide to give shaving a go, getting a pro to put an edge on the razor is very important.
Collector or shaver you are most welcome to the forum.

Welcome to SRP! I’d also recommend you give straight shaving a try some day. I’m sure you will find much more enjoyment in using them versus simply collecting. Good luck and have fun!

Hello Mike and welcome to SRP.
Most all of us here are straight razor users. There are also a very large number of collectors too.
I have a very modest collection of about 70 razors. Kind of a piker compared to the big boys.
