Hello Chunky River! Your a little far south of me up here but we can always offer help. Enjoy and read all you can in the library. There really isn't a question that hasn't been asked. I see you collect but do you shave with them? Tc

    Thanks for the welcome....

I have always wanted to try to shave with a straight razor. I may have to give a try at least once.... If I survive that attempt... who knows.

I see you have all sorts of info in regards to shaving here... what a Wonderful place...

When you decide to try straight razor shaving, send the razor you intend to use to a professional and get it boned and ready the right way. You’ll be thankful you did

I dabbled in reenacting for a while in the 1980's and there was ONE guy that always used a straight razor in camp to shave. I always wanted to try it.

You will find this is mostly a shaving site, we do not like razors not being used.

Ya send one back it to be honed and give it a whirl, after all that's what their for, must sitting in a box is just scrap metal. Tc

    Oh... sorry.
So, no collectors here? Only users?
I sure don't want to offend anyone.
