    80 on leather pre shave, 20 On leather post.

    About 50 on linen and 50 on leather before the shave and 25/25 after the shave on most carbon steel razors. Toss in another 25 each for the stainless steel ones.

    Bear in mind that you are dealing with steel vs leather. There is no "overstropping". There is just insufficient stropping. And no, "strop progressions" are not a thing.
    Best explanation I have seen yet. I finally was able to properly strop the razor and found a significant improvement.
