I also wish to create my own razor scales. Reading the material available on the topic here shows that it involves equal parts creativity, craftsmanship and technical knowledge. This is a journey and I have a lot to learn from the incredibly knowledgable and generous folks on SRP.

Yes wet shave. I prefer to shave with short blades because I have a contoured beard and I really love Japanese razors. I use a Hoshi Tombo 6000 razor and a Kintaka. shaving cream I use the simpsons and as an after shave I use the Pinaud vanilla.
