    Default Is this any Good?

I've just found a straight razor on ebay.ca that looks almost too good to be true!

    What do you think?
    Should I?

I wouldn't buy this. Chinese razor, some weird looking strop. I would pass.

I have not used any of the items contained in the listing you linked to. That said, sometimes the old saying about if something appears to be too good to be true may apply. Caveat emptor.

You get what you pay for. If it sounds too good to be true it probably isn't.

The problem with those razors, even comparing same brand and model is that they are very inconsistent. It might be passable but unlikely awesome, and it might never be more than a letter opener.

If you want a good stainless razor , get a Hess or a Henckels Inox & compare the price to the eBay one
