One soap I have recently tried was the Shetland Soap Company's which I was very impressed with. It was £7 or so and although the packaging wasn't anything spectacular, it performs very well and has a good refreshing scent. I got it in Kirkwall but I don't know if it's available on the mainland. There's always the internet again, I suppose.

Was it the Kingarth Hotel you got your steak at? I've certainly enjoyed a few meals there. And got a fair number of hangovers too.
Hi Stot. I didnt see any TIs- only 3 Dovos. I am very pleased however to hear of your satisfaction with the Shetland Soap Company's shaving soap as I used to live on Shetland- in Lerwick in fact! My wife nearly ended up working for them at one point. They have a good working ethic towards actively trying to employ those with disability- but thats neither here nor there.

As for our place of eating I cant remember at all. My wife tells me it was called the Smiddy Bar but checking it on the net shows that this is in fact part of the Kingarth Hotel. Steak was great and there is a bus route from outside the pub to outside our flat. Dont think i'll be using it for drinking in tho- our local is 200 yards away from our flat on foot.

Can I put this up yet? Or are we still close(ish) to topic..?
