Default About to make a purchase -- need quick feedback

I'm still new to the straight razor game, and I've been using disposables for the past few weeks with some success. However, I'm about to purchase:

-Dovo "Classic Black," 5/8" Carbon Steel Straight Razor ($59.99)
-Dovo Hanging Razor Strop - Rindleder [Leather side only] ($34.99)
    -Pre-Honed Razor Option ($19.99)

    All from vintagebladesllc.com

Would this be a good move? Hope to hear back soon..

    Thanks

I don't see anything wrong with that! Go for it! From what I understand, that Dovo is a very nice shaver.

I'm more worried about the strop -- is a canvas side necessary?

Probably not. I use it b/c I have it.

Vintagebladesllc.com seems as if they only take credit cards, and I want to purchase using a debit....

They're a trusted retailer, so if you have a cc, you might as well use it. Otherwise, you can go with Tony Miller. He takes PP and they take debit.

I would highly recommend getting the Dovo strop with the linen
side as well. I find this absolutely necessary in keeping a razor
sharp, and the Dovo linen is particularly nice.

Just ordered -- how long do you think it will take to get here? I'm in NJ, and vintageblades is Maryland-based. (I also got the pre-honed option)
