Thanked: 9Hand-mirror-eye coordination
I know it will just take practice, but I always get crazy confused looking in the mirror. I'm all like "who is this great looking guy???" ... no really, I'll see how I have to turn/angle the razor, and my hand does something different. Not even the opposite like you'd expect, just goes off and does its own thing. It's really a miracle there were no nicks or slices involved.
I guess what we really need is some sort of video game. Straight Razor Mario for the Nintendo Wii!! It will teach you how to instinctively move your hand differently if you're looking in a mirror or not! C'mon, we've gotta have some software developers amongst us!

Well heck stop staring at yourself in the mirror and focus on just the razor and your beard and you'll be fine.

LOL, funny thread.
I had this problem, too. But I've found that if you just concentrate on getting the razor at the right angle and close to the face BEFORE looking in the mirror, all you have to do is put it on the face.
Really once you get used the wrist motions, this goes away.
